CareCoach provides you with knowledge, skills, and support to navigate your life as you care for your person living with dementia
The great thing about the modules is that you can always apply them to your own situation. That’s why the course is so effective. Every module gives you specific actions you can take. I’ve found that the course has given me structure. Also, you can do the modules at any time that suits you.

After watching the video, you can read more information and tips about a module’s theme.
Tailored to your personal situation
Then you are invited to do some writing and thinking.
Achieving your goals, step by step
Finally, each module ends with a step-by-step plan that shows you, one step at a time, how to apply the knowledge and skills from CareCoach to your caring journey.
You’re not in this alone
Your personal coach will help you as you work through the course and give you feedback on the assignments you do.
“No one chooses to be a full-time caregiver. It just happens to you and it raises so many questions. This course teaches you to take a different approach to problems, and the caregivers in the videos understand what you’re going through. I’m very grateful for their practical tips

Who is the course for?
CareCoach is a self-management support package designed specifically for you, as you are supporting a person living with dementia at home. We use the word ‘carer’ as an umbrella term to include all unpaid carers, most of whom are spouses, sons, daughters, or other family members, but may also include friends and neighbours. The package is intended to provide you with knowledge, skills, and support to navigate your individual circumstances as you care for your person living with dementia. CareCoach has been co-developed with carers and dementia experienced staff.
